On WhatsApp, you can now make a customised Avatar and sticker set.

Meta is now bringing its customizable avatars to WhatsApp after announcing support for 3D Avatars on Instagram earlier this year. Avatars on WhatsApp were first released by the firm in the beta channel in October; the functionality is currently being rolled out to all users.

In a recent blog post, WhatsApp announced the launch and described how users can customise their avatars by choosing from a selection of haircuts, facial characteristics, and clothing options. Once you've made your own personalised avatar, WhatsApp will automatically make a sticker pack with 36 stickers that represent various emotions and actions based on the avatar. Following that, you may use your avatar as the app's profile picture or share the freshly created personalised stickers with your pals.

Create your own personalised avatar by going to the new Avatar option in the app settings after updating WhatsApp to the most recent version. When you're finished, choose the Profile photo option from the same menu to utilise your avatar as your profile picture. Open a chat, touch the Emoji button, and then choose the new avatar sticker pack option in the bottom toolbar to utilise your personalised sticker pack.

As previously noted, you may customise your avatar by selecting different hairstyles, facial characteristics, and costumes. However, the messenger intends to offer support for more choices in the future. According to WhatsApp's release post, "For many people, this will be their first experience designing an avatar, and we'll keep delivering style updates, including lighting, hair style textures, and more that will improve avatars over time."

It's important to note that, at the time of writing, none of our devices supported the Avatar option. The majority of people should see it, nevertheless, in the upcoming days.

Have you downloaded WhatsApp's new avatar option to your device? How do you feel about the newest feature? Comment below with your thoughts and let us know.

Price of the Samsung Galaxy M04 in India may be known!

Samsung is developing several entry-level and inexpensive smartphones for its various Galaxy smartphone lineups. One such smartphone is the Galaxy M04, information about which has previously leaked a few times due to the device appearing on benchmarks and the Google Play developer console. The device's potential Indian price has now been made public.

Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy M04 is going to be rather affordable given that it occupies the lowest position on the price scale. The people at 91Mobiles have leaked a poster that claims the device will cost less than Rs 10,000, or rather, Rs 8xxx, which could mean it will cost somewhere between 8,499 and 8,999 rupees ($103 and $110). The exact price has not yet been disclosed.

Although a release date has not yet been announced, the poster appears to be somewhat official, suggesting that a formal announcement may soon take place.

The Galaxy M04 pricing in India may be less than Rs 9000.

Expect not to be in the least bit impressed by anything offered here in terms of gear. The Galaxy M04 will include a waterdrop notch, which is quite typical for Galaxy smartphones in this price bracket, atop an HD+ screen with an unknown size (although anywhere between 6.4 and 6.5 inches seems like a decent guess).

The MediaTek Helio G35 chipset will be responsible for driving all those pixels. It has the PowerVR GE8320 GPU and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The phone has only ever been seen with 3GB of RAM, but once it goes on sale, other RAM configurations may be offered for purchase (including virtual RAM thanks to Samsung's RAM Plus feature).
There should be one front camera and two rear cameras on the Galaxy M04. The megapixel counts, however, are currently unclear. We may also fairly presume that a 5,000 mAh battery will be powering all the hardware, though this has not yet been confirmed, so we would advise using the information with caution.
The Galaxy M04's ability to run Android 12 is arguably its most significant feature, even though Samsung has updated more than 40 previous smartphones to the most recent OS version and Android 13 has been available for a while. Even though this is a completely cheap phone, it's possible that the software will have been updated by the time it hits the market.
On the subject of markets, it is unclear how broadly the Galaxy M04 will be offered. Although the phone might potentially be available in some European nations, we anticipate Samsung to concentrate its advertising efforts on the Indian subcontinent.

THE NEXT REVOLUTION IN FINGERPRINT SENSORS IS SAMSUNG OLED 2.0.

You can upgrade your smartphone to receive this functionality. You will want to have the technologies that Samsung has unveiled, regardless of who makes your next smartphone. A biometric fingerprint unlocking method called OLED 2.0 improves the user experience. In addition to being more safer to use, it is also a great deal more enjoyable. Additionally, the failure rate is usually 0.

The next level magnifies everything, even if you thought the fingerprint ultrasonic sensors were fantastic. Samsung has said some quite insightful things about a few issues. The business claims that OLED 2.0 is 2.5 billion times more secure.

Samsung's fingerprint sensor for OLED 2.0 will be the best.

A fingerprint sensor that raises the standard for security is the OLED 2.0. The first benefit is provided by the large surface. Samsung claims that the fingerprint can be placed anywhere on the screen. The smartphone won't need to be unlocked by pressing on the finger's location. Your finger can be put anywhere and it will work.

The technology will thereafter be able to distinguish up to three fingerprints at once. As a result, security is enhanced over 2,500,000,000 times over the most advanced sensors available today.

This technique will result in a reduction in failure rates. Only 0.002% of the time do the ultrasonic sensors that are currently in use malfunction. The OLED 2.0 sensor will see it 0.0000000000008% of the time. This is a significant advancement.
Even though we are aware that you want this new fingerprint sensor in your smartphone, we have some unsettling news. The claim that Samsung won't have this technology accessible by 2023 is not new. Wait until 2025, when it's expected that commercial smartphones will start utilising it.

Some iPhone users can use WhatsApp's picture-in-picture mode for video calls; learn more.

A fresh story claims that WhatsApp is exploring a native picture-in-picture option for video calls. Since the capability was discovered in an early build of iOS, only some iPhone owners now have access to it. It is unknown if and when WhatsApp will make the aforementioned feature available to all users.

As the name implies, picture-in-picture mode enables users to use other apps while participating in a video call. Picture-in-picture support is already available in apps like YouTube and Google Meet/Hangouts, making multitasking simple and convenient.

According to popular WhatsApp development tracking website WABetaInfo's report, the feature is accessible to some users running the most recent iOS beta build, or version 22.24.0.79.

Naturally, the update and accompanying feature will only be available to TestFlight subscribers, Apple's official beta channel for all things, particularly third-party apps. According to the WhatsApp tracker website, version 2.22.24.79 of the WhatsApp Settings contains this new feature. Version 22.24.0 is claimed to be the TestFlight build.According to the website, beta users who have not yet received the feature should wait for a subsequent update. WhatsApp has not yet made a formal announcement about the creation of such a feature.

In 2015, WhatsApp unveiled voice calling, then in 2016, it unveiled video calling. Despite the fact that one-on-one calls are a given, WhatsApp now enables users to have simultaneous group voice and video chats with up to 32 other users. The call link feature, on the other hand, enables you to create a link and invite people who might not be using WhatsApp. The instant messaging service, which is owned by Mark Zuckerberg's Meta, has added a number of features and updates over time to become more functional and remain current. Over two billion people use WhatsApp every month.

What It Means When Samsung Claims That the Fingerprint Sensor on Its Phones Will Be Stronger

According to reports, Samsung is developing a technique that, by 2025, would make fingerprint login 2.5 billion times more secure.Instead of employing a small scanner that can only read one fingerprint at a time, the whole OLED screen will be able to scan many fingerprints simultaneously thanks to the new technology, according to SamMobile.

The tech behemoth also revealed in August of this year that it was working on an all-in-one fingerprint detection solution for "OLED 2.0" panels, the next-generation screens.Future Galaxy device users won't have to worry about placing their fingerprints in the proper location on the screen. With OLED 2.0 and the upcoming All-in-One fingerprint scanning solution, the entire screen can function as a fingerprint scanner.

According to the study, Samsung will likely be the first OEM (original equipment manufacturer) to offer multi-fingerprint scanning, seizing the initiative in the market. The internet behemoth is reportedly developing a new smartphone app called "Self Repair Assistant" for DIY (do it yourself) aficionados, according to news reports from last week.

The organization's most recent trademark application shed light on its Self-Repair programme plans.

Nifty sees profit taking after an 8-day rally; 18,900 is a significant obstacle, according to analysts

On Friday, the Nifty reached a low of 18,900 and had its first decline in nine sessions. On the daily chart, the 50-pack index reversed its rising high-low and produced a bearish candle. The index produced a bullish candle on the weekly scale, but it had a long wick, indicating selling at higher levels.Nifty had formed a bullish Outside Bar on the weekly chart in the previous week, according to Gaurav Ratnaparkhi of Sharekhan, and the index saw a follow-through on the upside this week.

"After eight straight sessions of gains, Nifty experienced profit taking on Friday. It is, nonetheless, continuing to hold above the immediate support. On the hourly chart, the index is trading close to both a rising trendline and important hourly moving averages. A crucial support level from which the index can resume its ascent is 18,600. The short-term picture is still favourable overall with a target of 19,000, "said Ratnaparkhi.

According to Apurva Sheth, Head of Market Perspectives at Samco Securities, the index's daily chart displays a higher top-upper-bottom structure, which denotes a persistent upward trend. He claimed that prices reached a new record high at the beginning of the week and thereafter kept climbing.

"The first indication of profit taking was displayed by Nifty on Friday during the session when prices dropped below the 18,900 level and a bearish candle appeared on the daily chart. At the level of 18,887.60, the index has completed the Bearish Crab harmonic pattern. On the daily chart, the momentum oscillator RSI (14) has reached overbought territory and is currently hooking lower below 70. As options sellers are active near 19,000 levels with increased open interest, the bulls must surpass 18,900 levels to gain bullish momentum "said Sheth.

The analyst believes that the index has support at 18,500 and that any move below that level will cause the decline to continue all the way down to 18,380.The sentiment is most likely to continue, according to Rupak De, Senior Technical Analyst at LKP Securities

OYO's founder calls the announcement of hundreds of layoffs "unfortunate."

OYO's founder and group CEO, Ritesh Agarwal, stated: "Every member of the OYO team and I will actively support the strength of each of these employees. We will be doing everything we can to ensure that the majority of the people we are having to let go, are gainfully employed.

Ritesh Agarwal, the founder and CEO of OYO, said, "It's terrible that we're having to part ways.

New Delhi: Travel technology company OYO, which plans to go public soon, stated today that it will lay off 600 employees from its corporate and technical verticals and hire 250 others, mostly from the relationship management teams, to reduce its workforce by around 10%, or 3,700 people.

OYO stated that the adjustment is a part of broader organisational structure reforms. It is expanding its partner relationship management and business development teams while shrinking its product & engineering, corporate headquarters, and OYO Vacation Homes teams.

According to a statement, "OYO will downsize 10% of its 3,700-employee base, which includes fresh hiring of 250 members and letting go of 600 employees."

Teams for engineering and product are being combined for improved operation, it was said. The business claimed that tech teams working on pilot projects and proof of concepts for things like in-app gaming, social content curation, and patron-facilitated content are also being reduced in size. Additionally, it stated that staff from initiatives that have already been effectively built and implemented, including "Partner SaaS," are being fired or redeployed to key product & tech areas like AI-driven pricing, ordering, and payments.

In order to increase customer and partner happiness, the company will be hiring 250 additional team members, primarily for its relationship management teams. It will also be expanding its business development teams to accommodate more hotels and residences on its platform.According to OYO, the company is downsizing in some areas of the business as it moves toward the integration of various functions of its European vacation home business in order to boost productivity and capitalise on synergies. In addition, the company has reevaluated the structure of its corporate headquarters and is flattening team structures and merging roles where appropriate.

The business announced that it would provide as many employees with outplacement assistance as possible and maintain their medical insurance coverage for an average of another three months.OYO's founder and group CEO, Ritesh Agarwal, stated: "We will do everything in our power to make sure that the majority of the people we are having to let go are gainfully employed. I will personally and on behalf of the entire OYO team actively support the abilities of each of these personnel.

"It is unfortunate that we are having to say goodbye to so many of these talented people who have given so much to the company," We promise to contact them first and offer them the opportunity as OYO expands and a need for some of these roles arises in the future, Mr. Agarwal continued.

A man trapped in the snow is saved by the satellite connectivity capability of the iPhone 14.

 HIGHLIGHTS

A man stuck in Alaska was saved by Apple's Emergency SOS through Satellite function.

The individual was successfully retrieved, and no injuries were reported.

When cellular and Wi-Fi connections are down, Emergency SOS through Satellite can SMS emergency services.

With the introduction of iOS 16.1, Apple launched Emergency SOS via Satellite, which enables iPhone 14 users to contact emergency services using satellite communication when no cellular or WiFi connection is available. A man who was stuck in Alaska in the US was saved by the function, according to a MacRumors article.According to recent statements from Apple, the service is currently offered in the US and Canada and will be available in France, Germany, Ireland, and the UK starting in December.

How did the recently released Apple function save a life?

On December 1st, the Alaska State Troopers received word that a guy travelling by snowmobile from Noorvik to Kotzebue had become stranded. The man, in a cold, remote place without network, used the satellite connectivity on his iPhone 14 to alert authorities of his predicament.

The volunteer searchers were deployed to the GPS coordinates Apple received via the emergency function in cooperation with the Northwest Arctic Borough Search and Rescue Coordinator, the regional search and rescue teams, and Apple's Emergency Response Center. The individual was successfully retrieved, and no injuries were reported.

According to the report, the man was in a rural area that was barely outside of the satellite connectivity range. Noorvik and Kotzebue are near to 69 degrees latitude, and Apple apparently issued a warning that locations above 62 degrees latitude might not have satellite service.

This is how Apple's Emergency SOS via Satellite feature functions.

With the aid of specially created hardware and tightly integrated software, the iPhone 14 series, which consists of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max, can connect directly to a satellite.

Emergency SOS via satellite can help you if you are unable to contact emergency services because there is no cellular or Wi-Fi coverage by using a satellite connection and a user-friendly interface that displays on your iPhone. The user appears to be able to quickly and easily respond to significant questions using a brief questionnaire. Dispatchers receive the answers in the initial message, which helps them quickly comprehend the user's circumstance and location.

An easy-to-use interface instructs the user where to position their iPhone for connection and sends the first message when they have completed the questionnaire. The user's questionnaire responses, location (including altitude), iPhone battery level, and, if Medical ID is enabled, the user's medical information, are all included in this message. The survey and any necessary follow-up messages are sent directly by satellite to either relay centres where Apple-trained professionals can call for assistance on behalf of users or dispatchers who can read text messages. The user's emergency contacts can also receive the transcript to stay updated.

Nifty IT index rises 2%; gains of up to 3% are made by Infy, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Coforge.

After the chairman of the US Federal Reserve suggested that the central bank may slow the pace of rate increases, the US market ended higher overnight, driven by gains in technology stocks. Nasdaq Composite increased by 4.4%.

On Thursday, the National Stock Exchange's (NSE) intra-day activity saw the Nifty IT index rise 2%, drawing attention to shares of information technology (IT) companies. The increase follows comments made by the chairman of the US Federal Reserve that the central bank may decrease the rate of interest rate increases.

Overnight, the US market increased, driven primarily by increases in technology equities. The Nasdaq Composite increased by 4.4% on Wednesday.

At home, Coforge and L&T Technology Services saw a 3% increase in share price, while the NSE saw gains of 2% for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, HCL Technologies, Wipro, Persistent Systems, Tech Mahindra, and Larsen & Toubro Infotech. The Nifty IT index was up 2% at 09:24 compared to a 0.60 increase.

With the exception of TCS and LTI, LTM (last twelve month) attrition for all corporations decreased in the July-September quarter (Q2FY23), and all companies have stated that attrition will continue to decline in H2.Due to outstanding execution built on solid order wins from prior quarters, IT companies' growth momentum continued in the second quarter of FY23. The demand climate is still strong, and most businesses reported consistent TCVs (total contract values) in Q2.

"The companies maintained their revenue projection for FY23, taking into account Q3 furloughs and the effects of slower client decision-making across the entire H2 period. Customers want to spend money on programmes that increase revenue and reduce costs, and IT businesses want to profit from both growth drivers. Customers are the analysts at ICICI Securities stated in their Q2 earnings wrap that they were of the opinion that technology would be the last sector to be impacted by weak macros.

Anand Rathi Research analysts have a strong outlook on Infosys, a pioneer in next-generation digital service and consultancy. The brokerage firm stated in its Q2 result update that despite some caution due to the mortgage issue in financial services, caution in hi-tech, and caution in telecom, the company had continued to gain market share in cloud and digital business, had reduced employee attrition from the previous three quarters, and had closed significant deals.

TCS is considered to be well-positioned to navigate the difficult demand environment, according to analysts at Emkay Global Financial Services, given its well-diversified offerings and balanced mix of cost takeout & efficiency projects, growth & transformation projects, and well-balanced offerings.

The OnePlus 10 Pro receives the November patch via OxygenOS C.22.

The OnePlus 10 Pro is currently receiving OxygenOS C.22, which includes the November 2022 security patch and a number of fixes.

The most recent patch, which was announced in a special post on the OnePlus Community Forums, includes several significant performance improvements for the flagship 10 Pro. A problem with background apps not remaining active on devices has been resolved by OnePlus. Additionally, there are solutions for the screen flickering that occurs after entering dark mode and trying to use the in-display fingerprint scanner. OxygenOS C.22 on the OnePlus 10 Pro is also said to lessen app crashes in the camera category.

Of course, the most significant addition for many is the November 2022 security patch. However, even though it is the most recent patch, it will soon become obsolete because the December patch is scheduled to be released in the coming days. The complete changelog for the OxygenOS C.22 update is provided below:

System

• Integrates the Android security patch from November 2022 to increase system security.

• Enhances system performance and stability.

• Makes it possible for more apps to remain open in the background.

• Eliminates a potential screen flickering problem that could arise when you enter Dark mode and use your fingerprint to unlock your smartphone.

• Eliminates possible lag when switching between apps in recent tasks.

• Corrects a display flaw that has an impact on the Lock screen's backdrop.

Connections

• Increases Wi-Fi connection stability.

Camera

• Resolves a problem where the Camera app could crash occasionally.

OxygenOS C.22 will start rolling out in a staggered fashion, according to OnePlus. The OTA update will only be received by a tiny portion of customers in the upcoming days, followed shortly after by a further extension. For people in India, Europe, and North America, three different builds are being made available. The build numbers are listed below:

Indices reach new highs; the Sensex tops 62,500 and the Nifty is above 18,550; the energy sector shines.

The markets were under pressure on Monday, with most indices losing ground, as a result of the rising number of Covid cases in China and the response from the populace to the Zero-Covid policy. Indicators in Hong Kong/China and Tokyo both finished lower. The morning session sees lower trading on the European market as well.

Instead of the S&P 500, Euro Stoxx 50, or Hang Seng, we are discussing the BSE Sensex 30 and Nifty 50, two Indian equity benchmarks that recently reached new all-time highs despite rising interest rates and a weakening global economy, which will cause major Western indexes to fall in 2022.The Sensex is making new highs after ending at 62,508.80 points on Monday. The broader NSE Nifty, which reached a record high at the finish of 18,562.75, has also increased by 0.3%.

Several analysts claim that the buying on the Mumbai exchange is the result of a recent influx of liquidity from Western investors who have chosen India as a new outlet due to their concerns regarding China's political and economic course.

The IOCSE predicts that real GDP will grow by 6.6% at the end of this year after a boom of +8.7% in 2021, while growth is predicted to be +5.7% in 2023.

Additionally, according to OECD forecasts, inflation will reach 6.8% in 2022, then rise to 5.0% the following year before dropping to 4.3% in 2024, in part as a result of the government's decision to increase imports of Russian oil and other affordable energy products.

This is very dissimilar to what is seen, for instance, in the euro area where the harmonised HCPI is predicted to increase by 8.3% this year and 6.3% by the end of 2023.

Similar to countries in Southeast Asia, the nation headed by Prime Minister Modi has seen an increase in foreign investment. According to Hemant Kanawala, executive vice president and head of equity at Kotak Mahindra (NS:KTKM) Life Insurance, "the outlook for Indian markets remains positive in the medium term, as the structural growth drivers of the Indian economy are intact and India's macroeconomic parameters remain resilient to the challenges of the global economy."Foreign investors continue to "remain enthusiastic about Indian markets compared to other emerging and developed markets, as indicated by the consistent buying trend witnessed since October 2022," according to Manoj Purohit, Partner and Leader – Financial Services Tax at BDO India.

The Indian stock market has been successful in luring foreign investors, and credit for this success goes to the Indian economy's consistent performance in the face of global headwinds like the ongoing military conflict, fluctuating interest rates, and

Samsung Galaxy S23 series ready to come with Qualcomm chipset

Samsung is planning to introduce the Galaxy S23 series, which will feature three models: the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra.

The South Korean smartphone manufacturer hasn't officially announced the smartphone's launch.

The rumor that the chip supplier will profit from the debut of the smartphone series in the second part of the March quarter has been confirmed by Qualcomm, the company that makes the chipsets that power smartphones.

The cellphones are anticipated to go on sale in the first week of February. The Galaxy S23 series is expected to be introduced at a live Galaxy Unpacked event, which will take place in San Francisco.

In the past, some markets featured Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra models powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU. While the Galaxy S22 series uses the Exynos 2200 in some countries.

Regarding this information, Samsung and Qualcomm announced a multi-year partnership earlier this year to outfit Samsung smartphones with Snapdragon chipsets. PCs, tablets, extended reality, and other items were also covered by the deal.
