The selfie camera on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will be of inferior resolution.

The top S series member has always sported a 40MP selfie camera since the debut of the Galaxy S20 Ultra, but things could finally change in 2019. According to the most recent tip from GalaxyClub, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, due out in February 2023, may use a new, lower resolution sensor.

The Galaxy S23 and S23+ will finally get a new, improved selfie camera, according to past rumours. According to rumours, the 10MP selfie camera will be replaced with a 12MP one, and the S23 Ultra will have the exact same 12MP sensor.

Initially, this would appear to be a downgrade for the Ultra but an enhancement for the S23 and S23+. However, as the most of you are aware, pixel count isn't everything, therefore we may end up with an image with higher overall quality. And perhaps, just perhaps, we will see AF on the front. Sure, we can dream.
