Apple's stunning upgrade is revealed through a recent MacBook Air leak.

The MacBook Air will soon receive an incredible improvement from Apple that will bring the display in line with many high-end Windows laptops. However, you'll have to wait a while until this excellent choice becomes available.

Ross Young, a well-known industry observer, provided the following information about the new displays based on his supply chain analysis:Along with its 11-inch and 12.9-inch OLED iPad Pros, Apple will release a 13.3-inch OLED MacBook Air in 2024. OLEDs have had a big year.

There are two important times when this could happen in 2024, either during WWDC in June or later in the year in the October/November window. Given the introduction of the M2 chipset and the second-generation Apple Silicon MacBook Air at WWDC in 2022, I believe June 2024 is more probable. Since Apple is a creature of habit, putting the Mac platform on a consistent update schedule that mimics the iPhone will undoubtedly be welcomed by a wide range of people, including customers and businesses seeking a predictable upgrade cycle.

Additionally, this will be the first MacBook Air powered by Apple Silicon that feels genuinely contemporary. The M1 MacBook Air maintained the design of the Intel-based laptops, a decision that prioritised continuity while leaving the bigger 14-inch and 16-inch variants to feature the updated MacBook design. The MacBook Air may not enter the modern laptop world until 2024, but it will eventually do so, and the MacBook Pro OLED machines will undoubtedly follow.

The connection between the modifications to the MacBook Air and the iPad Pro also strikes me as odd. It appears that Apple will continue to strike a balance between its "you need a computer" and "your next computer is not a computer" marketing tenets even as their respective hardware specifications approach parity.
