1 Switch on the Bluetooth earbuds. The Bluetooth headphones must be powered on by pressing the power button.
2 Set the earbuds to pair mode. There can be a pairing button or a "discoverable" option for the headphones, depending on the model. To learn how to set the headphones into pairing mode, consult the user guide.
5 Click Devices. It is the option near the top of the page with the icon that resembles a keyboard and a speaker.
6 Click + Add Bluetooth or other device. It is on the page's top. This causes the pop-up window in the screen's centre labelled "Add a device" to appear.
The "Bluetooth & other devices" page automatically opens in the Devices settings page for the majority of Windows 10 versions. Click on Bluetooth and other devices in the left column first if you can't see the "Add Bluetooth or other device" option.
7 Click Bluetooth. It is the top-ranking option. Your computer will start scanning for nearby devices that are in pairing mode.
8 When your headphones appear, press the button. If you activated your headphones properly, their name should show up in the "Add a device" pop-up box during scanning. This starts the pairing process and links your headphones.
9 Press "Done." At the bottom of the pop-up window, there is a grey button. Your Bluetooth headphones are now linked.
If you have headphones plugged in but there is no sound coming from them, click the volume icon Windows10volume.png in the bottom right corner of the screen to reveal the sound device that is currently selected. Click the linked device, then choose your headphones if they aren't already selected.
